Online Course & Skills Session Directions
To complete the NRP Advanced 9th Edition certification, participants must first complete the online course and exam, followed by an in-person skills session.
Online Course Requirements
Please register for and complete the NRP Advanced 9th Edition online course (do not select the Essential version). All modules in the 9th Edition must be completed successfully.

The NRP strongly recommends using the 9th Edition textbook or eBook to successfully complete the online course and exam. Be sure you are purchasing the correct edition.
Once you have completed the online portion, print your completion certificate and bring it with you to your scheduled skills session. We are required to keep a copy for our records.
Skills Session Scheduling
After completing the online course, you must attend an in-person skills session to complete your certification.

Our NRP courses are taught by Anne Johnson, RRT, a highly experienced Respiratory Therapist specializing in neonatal care. Anne has been working in the field since 1986 and brings decades of hands-on experience to every class. Her engaging teaching style and real-world clinical insight help students build confidence and master essential neonatal resuscitation skills.

Important Reminder
You must bring your completed NRP online course certificate to the skills session. This certificate is required to participate in skills testing. Course completion cards will NOT be issued without proof of online course completion.
