About CPR
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a critical emergency procedure performed to help restore circulation and breathing in individuals experiencing cardiac arrest. CPR is indicated for individuals who are unresponsive and not breathing normally (or only gasping). It can be performed both inside and outside of a hospital setting.
CPR consists of delivering high-quality chest compressions at a rate of 100–120 compressions per minute to manually circulate blood through the heart. Rescue breaths may also be provided, either mouth-to-mouth or with the use of a barrier device, to deliver oxygen to the lungs.
This Heartsaver® CPR/AED Course Includes:
-
Key updates based on the 2025 American Heart Association Guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care
-
Adult, Child, and Infant CPR
-
AED use for all age groups
