PALS & BLS Pre-Course Information
Below are the step-by-step instructions for completing the PALS Precourse Self-Assessment. These requirements are part of the 2025 updates established by the American Heart Association.

Pre-course information forPALS RENEWAL courses:
- Go to https://elearning.heart.org.

From the Courses drop-down menu, select Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
- After selecting Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), scroll down until you locate PALS Precourse Self-Assessment, then click “Launch This Course.”

You will be redirected to a new page where you can create an account by completing all required information. Please be sure to select the checkbox confirming that you have read and understood the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
If you already have an account, simply click “Sign In” to continue.
- You will then be directed to the PALS Precourse Self-Assessment.

Once you have completed the precourse self-assessment, you will be directed to a results page displaying your score. Please follow the instructions provided on that page.
If you choose to print your results, three pages will be generated. We only require Page 1, which shows your score. If you do not have access to a printer, you may take a clear screenshot of the page displaying your score and email it to statcprsolutions@gmail.com.
7. In the top-right corner of the screen, click “Exit Exercise.” You will then be redirected to another page. From there, select “Certificate” to print your certificate.

The logo in the top-right corner

Your full name

The certificate number located in the bottom-right corner
