COURSE DESCRIPTION

The PALS course equips pediatric healthcare providers with the knowledge, skills, and clinical strategies needed to confidently manage critically ill infants and children—ultimately improving patient outcomes. This course is intentionally designed to be relaxed, supportive, and stress-free, creating an ideal learning environment for success.
PALS is designed for pediatricians, emergency physicians, family physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals who initiate or direct advanced life support during pediatric emergencies. It is also highly recommended for nursing students preparing for employment in pediatric or emergency care settings.
Using a scenario-based, team-focused approach, the course emphasizes the assessment and management of pediatric patients who are approaching or already experiencing respiratory or cardiac arrest. Concepts are presented in a clear, practical way that is easy to understand and remember. Upon successful completion, you will receive your PALS provider card immediately, valid for two years.
